It is our mission at Vitality Fitness in to make your fitness experience transformational. You will be trained by Georgi Jackson-Gehrke, a professional trainer for over ten years. She is certified by ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) for personal fitness training and is a member of AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America).

 

We are committed to providing the highest quality service in a nurturing environment. We use only state-of-the-art equipment and techniques. You have busy lives, so we provide individualized programs that fit your time and budget.

Before we begin your personal training, Georgi performs a thorough evaluation which includes:

  • Assessing your goals
  • Body measurements, weight and Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Completion of a health and fitness questionnaire
  • Discussion on how to reach your fitness and health goals
  • Determining how to measure your progress

We provide a wide range of professional training services that combining knowledge, experience and total dedication to you.

 

Private One-On-One Personal Training

You’ll receive maximum benefit from your fitness plan working one-on-one with a personal fitness trainer. Georgi will provide a program tailored specific to your needs and fitness goals. You’ll get the best professional fitness training available in San Diego.

 

Partner Training
Share your fitness experience with a friend, spouse, or significant other. Sessions are discounted. These sessions can be more motivating when both people are encouraging and challenging one another.

 

Wellness Coaching
Coaching takes the relationship with the client to a deeper and more meaningful level than regular one-on-one fitness training. Wellness coaching alone is great if all you need is emotional support and accountability for your fitness and health goals.  Consider adding wellness coaching to your personal training plan.

 

Nutritional Programs
Nutrition contributes greatly to any fitness program. What’s a fad diet? Do I reduce my carbs? I’m middle aged and going through menopause, so what’s best for me? At Vitality Fitness we will design a nutritional program specific to your needs.

 

Pilates
Vitality Fitness offers one-on-one Pilates training. This form of exercise is designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. It is a full-body system of specific exercises that focuses on core postural muscles that keep the body balanced and aligned.

 

Sports Specific Training
If you desire to increase your mileage and time in a 5K, half marathon, or a marathon, we at Vitality Fitness can design a workout program that will assist you in developing speed, power and endurance. If you want to improve your golf swing, Vitality Fitness has a program that will strengthen the appropriate muscle groups to improve your swing and coordination.

 

Weight Loss Programs
If you struggle with weight loss or maintaining weight loss, at Vitality Fitness will help by providing you with a comprehensive program that addresses all aspects of weight loss for you to consider.

 

Postural Assessments

Postural assessments taken to ensure improvements in the following areas:
Shoulder girdle retractors – muscles that stabilize or hold the shoulder blades back and down.
Maintaining proper neutral alignment – learning to keep hip bones level with the shoulders and the tailbone, pointed towards the heels or the floor by learning enhancement exercises such as single leg lifts, etc.
Bending from the hip versus the back – avoid rounding the spine when bending towards the floor by using more knee and hip flexion and focusing on keeping the chest and sternum lifted as you hold a contraction in the abdominal muscles.
Sustaining abdominal stabilization – learning to keep ribs pulled in and navel compressed towards the spine.
